Ever wonder why large corporate websites can get away with such blatant abuses in the areas of usability and standards? Visa.com (viewed without JavaScript enabled) give the user the option to, I don’t know, print the page and color on it?
So the next time you take the time to give script-less users an easy way to view your site, stop and think to yourself: what would Visa do? As the article accurately points out:
There are simply no good reasons not to make basic pages like these work without JavaScript, and the Electric Floor Awards are designed to highlight some of the high-profile offenders. If Google can make GMail work without JavaScript, there should be no excuse for infinitely simple sites to fail.
