@Pendragon Try looking at the view files in application/views/files/ and switching out the icon img src paths with the actual image paths. Then, depending on how the script works, you might be able to just add it to the header in one of the application/layouts/ files. Disclaimer: it's been over a year since I've done any work on this, and I've become used to better app organization, like in CodeIginiter. I think those should be the right file locations for what you're looking to do. Make sure you back everything up!

was wondering if you could ask for advice on any tidbits for scripts here. I love the layout and have been using this for awhile. I was wondering how do i make uploaded files in the display message section show up as thumbnails and not links. I want to set all files as thumbnails.
I am trying to make it look like this
http://cssglobe.com/lab/overflow_thumbs/

Not sure where or which file to load the scripts in. If I could get a brief start where to look it would be a lot of help. Thanks for any help

@Jonto No, since acBC is more than a theme, it won’t work for skinning PP. I developed this mainly for myself and one client who liked Basecamp a lot but was perhaps overly concerned about their data being hosted anywhere but internally. That was in the last quarter of 2007, while the future of the open source version of activeCollab was uncertain. I know there is much that could be improved, but I now use the software for every client project and it works well 99% of the time. I still have high hopes of developing a better system from the ground up or partnering with a developer so I can stick to UI.

Do you know if activecollab BC will work with ProjectPier? If not, is this planned at some point? activeCollab 0.7.1, as you know, is no longer being developed. It seems a shame that a project as cool as this be tied to software that has reached the end of its life.

Did this project die?

The activeCollab BC "project" is "intended to be a one time offering of a Basecamp look-alike version of the free activeCollab 0.7.1." There will be no further updates to it, though you are free to edit whatever you like in the code or CSS. There are a few minor bugs that have been reported, but most users report that it works well for their freelance or studio environment (over 300 downloads since I posted it).

The other open source branch of activeCollab has been placed on the back burner at this time (I will update the post above to reflect that). Ideally the new system would be re-built from scratch on Code Igniter and include a fuller feature set, including time-tracking, invoicing, etc. However, I am primarily a UI designer, so I have been recalcitrant to attempt this. My PHP skills are just average.

That said, if there are any CI/PHP rockstars out there that would like to get involved, please contact me. I am not opposed to working with a team.

Hi, any word on the modifications you talk about above?

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I made most of the modifications for personal use (file uploads, etc), but there were still some UI things I wasn't happy with and other projects have taken over my time.

In addition, I find myself using the message/comments features in activeCollab BC more often since they are directly tied into my projects and clients. At this point I'd have to call the Prologue re-do dead. Thanks for the interest. I hope aC BC will work for your project management needs.
